Q.

L1A to H1B Transfer while in US

Hi,

I am in the US on a Blanket L1A visa from Company A. Now, I have an offer from Company B that is willing to sponsor H1B.

Can I change my status from L1A to H1B while remaining in the US? Does it matter that it is an L1A Blanket Petition that I entered the US on?

Please clarify.
