does L1 visa must establish import&export business transation?
A concrete company in China and wants to buy 60% of the US existing real estate or a restaurant supply company (any one of them). They want to expand a division of renovation in the real estate or a restaurant renovation in the restaurant supply company. Alternately, he wants his family, specially his children to immigrate to the US and to enroll into school here. He was told that L1 visa is the best opportunity. But they are not import and export company. And two business (US & China)are not exactly the same business. There will be not much business transaction between US and China, except one ownership or partnership. Is he qualified to apply L1 visa? Also, can he buy an existing company with expansion in the USA to qualify L1 or investor ?
