Q.

L1B visa CompA have not paid for work hours and bench period

Previous compA has backdated job end date & not paid me for all the time while we were discussing to serve notice period
5/27 gave resignation notice to HR
6/3 Sent a unofficial email to client(my hr NOT copied) saying goodbye
6/3 HR asks 2 serve months notice&both agreed, I sent my cv
6/14 HR mail replied: still looking project
6/14 Evening lost access to company portal
6/14 CompB got H1B approved
1.Is it legal to consider 6/3 as my employment end date showing an unofficial email sent to clients
*Is it legal for CompA not to pay me while I'm on bench on L1B visa (even if some one backdated my end date as 6/3, there are official email msgs from HR looking for projects from 6/3-14
*Is it legal to hold my previous month paycheck
*What is my status from 5/1-6/14 for missing payslips
