Q.

Change Status from L1 to H1. Will my L2 EAD gets void immediate?

My wife is working with Company X on L1 visa which is valid till Jan 2012, I am also working on L2 EAD currently. My wife company is planning to file H1B with change of status for her this April. I want know if her H1B gets approved on first week of may, will my L2 EAD will be voided immediately or will it get voided on OCT 1st . During this approval process can we both go to india in May and come back with our l1 and L2? Will that cause a problem to our L1 and L2 EAD. Can i alone travel to india atleast ?
