Q.

L2 Visa/ Separated from L1 not divorce/

I am L2 visa and My husband is L1. We are separated but not divorced yet. My I-94 is valid until Sep 3/ 2011. He has left the company and he left the country on Sep,30, 2010. Can I continue under my L2 and I-94 until Sep, 3/ 2011? or do I need to change my status and If so what it is the deadline. I do not want to be in violation of the law. Please advise.
