Q.

About DUI probation and continuation of VISA

Dear Sir, My friend (Mohan) has got a DUI charge upon him and he has to do 11 months probation. But his VISA is going to expire in March 2011. He would not be able to complete the probation period if he comes to india. Is it possible to extend the Visaeven if he checks yes abt the crime. He has L1 visa right now and resides in Georgia.
