Q.

L2 EAD GC

I have been in USA since August 2006 on L1B status until June 2009. I reenterd USA with L1-A status on July 2009, my visa is valid until June 2012. My employer is not willing to file for Green Card. My wife is on L2 status with a valid EAD until April 2012, and is currently working as a Programmer for a consulting form.

Q1. Can my wife apply for Permanant Residentship on her own (Green Card) since she has the EAD (If so what is the process) or her employer should apply for her Green Card (If so what is the process)?

Q1A. What is the best way to process a GC for my wife, based on the information provided above?
