Currently I am working for a company in L1 Visa (Intra Company transfer from India). My L1 is Maxing out december-2010 so the company has filed the H1 Conversion Petition (under USCIS processing).

Due to personal reasons i want to Quit and planning to submit my resignation in US itself before going back to India. I would like to clarify the following questions

1.How long i can stay in US after submitting my resignation?
2.Do i need to leave immediately after submitting my resignation? or
3.Can i stay in US till my company accepts my resignation and relieves me properly after completing the Exit process (2-3 weeks)?
4.Will there be any questions in Immigration when i travel back to India after 2-3 weeks?
