Q.

L1 extension

Hi, my L1 visa expires on 31st of january 2010. I already applied for an extension via expedite way. If my extension is not approved until my visa expires, do I have to leave the country ? I mean, having submited the extension application prior the expiration, allows me to stay legally in the country until I receive the extension approval?
