Q.

J1 Waiver and Change of Status

My spouse is a postdoc at NIH, Bethesda MD with J1 VISA. Does she have 2-year HRR? I got a job in another state and I will get H1B (Cap) sponsorship. What does she need to do to find H1B employment close to me? Can she be a dependent without applying for J1 waiver? If I apply for a green card, does she still need J1-Waiver(INDIA)? What are the steps involved in J1-Waiver process. We will send No Obligation forms to our home country soon. Additional guidance or advise is appreciated.
