the 3 months requirement for Naturalization
One of the requirements for naturalization states that a person should reside within a state or district for at least 3 months prior to the filing of the application.
Does this mean that the person cannot take any trips Abroad during this 3 months period?
As a follow up, assuming that the person can take trips abroad during this period, does a person need to be Physically present in the US when filing the application for naturalization?
Thank you.

You have to have residency, but that does not mean you have stay and not travel. You can file when you're not here, but you have to be back for fingerprinting. |
