SAVE immigration status verification
My husband is on H4 and INS wrote us on July 7 08 that our I-485 has been approved and we shd receive our GC within 90d. When it did not come he called and we were given a further 45d wait period. In the interim I went to RENEW my Georgia drivers' license and I was told to come back in 5 days while they verified. After 5 days I was told verification was not throgh. They made copies of my VALID I-94 and it was sent by mail. I was told to return only after 30d during which I could not drive even though I was in status. Again after 30d, I was told SAVE had not verified my status and was made to resubmit the same documents. I called DMV in Atlanta but was only told the verification could not be done manually despite being obviously in status. Now I can't drive as I risk suspension. Options?

I am not familiar with Georgia DMV rules, but some DMVs allow you to renew based on your EAD - do you have unexpired EAD? If not, you can call USCIS' customer service line and inquire about your card. If you do not get result, you should schedule an InfoPass appointment at your local USCIS service center and try to clear this up.
Seems like something is delaying the production of your green card and this is holding up your status in SAVE. I would focus on working with USCIS on clearing the reason which prevents your card's production.
