I-485 status after leaving job for EB1 self petitioners

Thanks for prompt reply. I need to clarify 2 more things:
1) I have EAD as a dependent. Can I work as independent consultant [instead of being bound to an employer] after she leaves her job?
and
2) What will be my wife's status in case she leaves her job?

A.	Thanks for the follow-up. You, as dependent, can use the EAD to work for anyone, including self-employment. After your wife leaves her job her status would be adjustment of status pending. Best regards.
