My h1b w/o COS got approved with the previous Company(A) but I want to apply for OPT extension with another company(B) which is e-verified. A is not willing to put me in payroll from OCT 09 nor does it have any in-house projects. I have been with B since July 6th 09 and was in payroll since then.

Q.)I wish to apply for OPT extension through B. I Don't want to be with A anymore.Is it Ok?I only have EAC no. from A.
Q.) Heard manytimes SEVIS gets terminated once your h1b is approved with/without COS from Oct which precludes you to apply for OPT extn. Is this true? Am i legally Safe to apply OPT extn.?
Q.)What are the chances of getting RFEs for OPT extn in my case?Does it have anything to do with A? I only have EAC number from A.
