Q.

H1 transfer

I am on H1 visa expire September 30 2009. We had filed for extension with employer A and was denied. Planing to file for H1 transfer through Employer B. How many years extension can we ask in that?
Q1)How soon can we start working for Employer B?? Or we can't work for them until we get the transfer approved?
Q2) Can we stay in USA until our case is pending? Or do we have to leave by September 30.
Q3) If the transfer to Company B is denied lets say in November 2009? Are the days after September 30 counted as accruing illegal status?? Will we be banned to enter USA for sometime due to that??
Q4)Now if we file for MTR with company A, how soon can we get a decision? Can we do MTR and H1 transfer at the same time?? Can we work on MTR for company A?
