My H1B is pending. My previous status - J1 expired July 1st. (including 1 mth grace period). I applied for COS to F2 and it was denied (on Jul 10) because of the wrong document sent (my attoney's mistake). I will reopen the case in time with the new evidence. My question is - can I stay another month in US (while the roepen petition is pending) and go for H1B stamping in September, or should I leave US asap? Is there any possibility that because of this 'overstay' I can have a problem to reenter US with my H1B? Thanks. Agnieszka
