Hi, My question is in regards to a peculiar situation. There is a friend of mine who is on an H1 of a very small time consulting company in Wisconsin. He has about 4 consultants out of which 2 are on bench and he is not paying them from about 6 to 8 months now. He himself is on an H1 B and does not hold a permanent residence card or citizenship. Of course they are frustrated. My questions…
1)Can they report him to the Labor department or someone because he is not in compliance with H1 laws, if yes who can they report him to?
2)Can someone legally run a consulting company being on an H1, if no who can they report him too and what action can be taken on him?
