I came to US in 2006 on L1B. This year Initially my company(A) was not interested to apply for L1 to H1.

I applied for H1 through Company (B). They started processing my L1 to H1 conversion. They got few queries from USCIS and they are in the process of answering those Qs

Now my company A want to apply for L1 to H1 conversion. My company dont know that I am trying for H1 through company B.

Questions are
a)Does INS accept two H1 applications for the same person through different companies and I get 2 H1s?
b)Will my present Employer come to know about L1 to H1 conversion with Company B any way?
c)If his first H1 application (of Company B) gets rejected/Accepted, will it have impact on second application (Company A)?

Are there any other legal implecations in this?
