Q.

H1B transfer. Have AOS ... follow up

Hi Dimitar,

"- if you travel using your AP while your H-1B transfer is pending, if you enter the U.S. using your AP AFTER your H-1B transfer (and change of status to H-1B) is approved, you will revert your status from H-1B to "AOS pending" status automatically."

Please clarify:
- If H1B transfer pending, and I travel using AOS, and I return to US BEFORE H1B transfer approved ... then I am in H1B status (?)

- " " " and I return to US AFTER H1B transfer approved .... then I am in "AOS Pending" status.

I am unfamiliar with "AOS Pending". Does this void my H1B ?
Can I later exit and return on H1B ?

( My likely scenario is : Start work with new company, apply for H1B transfer, whilst waiting for H1B transfer approval, travel for training on AOS )

Thanks again.
Dave.
