Q.

I 94

Hi,

I recently joined new company and got the H1B approval. Initially we applied for both approval and Extention. USCIS came back asking my recent paystubs. I didnot have one becasue i was at Bench with my previous employer. So my lawer said we can say them we need only approval not the extention and we did the same.

Now I got the approval and not the extention meaning I don't have the new I94. But my current I94 is valid till Sep2010. Can I continiue to work with my new employer using my old I94.

If I really have to re-enter US, can mexico border be a good choice. Will i face any problem at POE. Will they ask why you did not receive the I94 and all.

Please advice.
