My wife is working US on H1. I traveled to US in April 2008 on H4. I applied for my H1 there and I came back to India in June 2008.
1. My H1 got approved in December (I-797-A)(status change from H4 to H1) and I got my Visa approved in US consulate in India
2. Due to current market condition my h1b sponsor is not allowing me to travel to US on H1B
My queries are
1. I would like to go for my H4 visa (as I have the letter of approval for H4 also with me), Is there any possible rejection?
2. After getting my H4 visa can I travel to US on H4 visa and can I change my status back to H1B after some time?
4. whats the minimum days it takes for COS in premium processing from H4 to H1 and whats the approx COST
5. Is there any minimum duration do I need to wait to convert from H4 to H1 back
