She is an H1B visa holder (multiple entry) in good status and has her green card through employer currently in the I-485 stage. I am a Naturalized US Citizen. We are going to India to get married in late June. We plan on getting married in a Texas court of law next week. We do not plan to start her adjustment of status until after we return in july. Do you forsee any problems with her exit & entry when we travel to India & back for our traditional wedding? Does the INS check state marriage records and if they do is it a problem?
Are we asked our marital status on any forms? We would never lie on any of these. Are we taking any risk by doing this? Thanks for your response.
