can one use valid EAD to work while entered on H4 satus
My wife, the main applicant of green card, entered to US as H4 last week because her AP was expired. The officer said she no longer can work even though she has a valid EAD. I am on my H1B visa, therefore they issued her an H4. We are told she needs to apply for a new AP, cross the border and enter as parolee to be able to resume work. Is that true? To get an AP can take up to 90 days, loosing work and income for the family.
