Q.

F1 to H1 status change

I am currently on F1 and working for a company on my CPT. My CPT ends in July and I haven't applied for my OPT. My company has applied for my H1B on April 1, 09. My question is, in the event that I loose my job before July (likely), and the company drops my H1B petition, would it affect my F1 status ? and how would my future H1B application be affected ?
