Q.

Time-off between 2 jobs when H1B transfer is already approved

I am working for company A who has sponsored my H1B. I accepted an offer from company B and they filed a H1B transfer for me, which has been approved.

Can I take some time-off (a week) after I resign from company A and before I join company B ?

Can there be gap in my employment when my H1 transfer has been approved.
