I work for Company A on an L1A Intercompany visa for 4 years at a director level. I am an Irish national.
I have been approached by 2 different companies B & C, to join their organizations at director level, but both are looking for an immediate start.
1) Can i change status from L1 to H1 & work for company B or C while this process is underway?
2) Can company B or C apply for a change of status directly to Green Card petition & can i work while this is underway?
3) B has offices in Canada, US & China while C has offices in US & China. Does this provide any benefits or alternatives in status change?
4) If H1 is the only alternative & the deadline is now passed for the lottery, what are my options?
5) Can i return to UK & visit US to work as a consultant until new visa is approved?
