H1 B Status

Hi iam on H1 Visa and work for an EMPLOYER A , but my project will be finishing in 10 april 2009. My employer forcing me to go to india for a visit and search for project from india.
he asked me to mail requesting for vacation and i mailed , he sent an approval of 6 weeks vacation.
But now i thought of staying for 2 weeks for my personal use and travel to india on May 1 week 2009.
Does this affect my status , Does this have any issue when i enter US after my vacation of 6 weeks or more.
what should i do if he revokes my VISA when iam in india . can i try to do H1 Transfer from there?? iam confused about the situation.
