I am currently on H-1B 3year extension as
1) My employer applied for green card and I-141 is approved and
2) I have used up my 6years of H1b visa

I am thinking about quitting work for a while and transfer my visa to dependent visa(as my wife works on a H1B visa) to take care of my daughter. I am not concerned about my green card process, but concerned about whether I can get another job back without going out of US for 1 year. So my question if I want to get another job after while on H-1b can I do that Or Do I have to stay outside of USA for 1 year. In other words if I want to get a job back on H-1b visa do I have to stay outside of USA for 1year ?
