Q.

H1B Extension / Recapture

I will have 98 + 73 = 171 days left on the 6 year H1B period ending on April 14 2012.

Question
1. Can I file for H1B extension through recapture for 171 days starting on July 15th 2012

2. Can I file for this extension while I am in India - say in March 2012
