Working on EVCmodel & hav single entry Canada tourist visa until 5/31/2012. H1B interview 12/19@Toronto & received yellow 221g. They checked "Necessary Administraive Processing". Kept original I797, copy of (I-129, vendor letter with roles and responsibilities), cancelled H1B visa but gave passport back.

Query:
- How long should I stay in Canada to get this resolved? Any restrictions on length of stay for tourist visa?
- If I goto India before resolution, what type of canada visa should I apply to comeback when embassy ask me to submit passport in Toronto? Will there be any issue in getting new visa if I show I want it for h1b stamping in Toronto?
- Can I get all processing done including stamping from India without coming to Canada?
- Can you think of any other better option?
