Q.

OPT to H1b

My OPT expires on January 16th, 2012. My employer applied for H1b via premium processing on Nov 14th, 2011. I got a RFE regarding and we responded to the RFE on Dec 5th.

Can I work after January 16th, 2012 even if I dont get a Approval/Denied H1b decision by then?

If my H1b gets denied, what are the other options for me to stay legally in the country?
