Hi,

1)I am currently working for a company on OPT-extn.
They have agreed to sponsor my H1 but they are delaying in applying for the same.
My OPT expires next year in June 2012.
So if I can't make it in the current 2012 Quota, and the company applies for my H1 Visa next April,
I will have a gap in my status from July 12 - Sep 12.
Can I work from India during that period holding the same job? Should job status change?
How can I work around that?

2)I am also attending interviews with other companies.
If I get a job offer, can two (including the one I mentioned above) companies apply for my H1 in parallel?
Is this a concern? My current company is delaying applying for H1 so I am not sure what to do
to protect my status here.
