Visa Stamping in Mexico or Canada
I am currenlty on H1 B status, but my H1 B visa has expired and I am trying to go to Mexico to get it stamped. I was laid off in April 2010 from my previous employer and I had to change to F1 status with my I-94 valid till sept 2011.I got employed back in March 2011 with the present employer with approved I-797 with I-94 valid till sept 2012. Will I still be able to go to Mexico to get my Visa stamped??? Is the period b/n the change of status considered out of status? Can you please clarify??
