Q.

H4-H1

I am going to finish my 6th year H1B on 02/14/2012.GC Labor got audit and planning to change my status from H1B - H4(dependent to my wife). Do i need to get H4 approval on or before 02/14/2012? or receipt number is good enough to that particular date.Total how many days will take to convert to H1 to H4(now a days)?.
