Q.

Job Change ( I 140 ) and 3 Years extension

.H1B issue Date oct 24 2004
.Labor appvd(EB3)Jan2010(Priority dt Mar2009)
.My I-140 Approved Aug 2010(Priority dt Mar2009)
.Currently I am on 3 yrs extension based on I-140 till oct 2014 (i hv I-797 but stamping not done)
.My wife's (H4) I94 is till Oct 10 2011
Current employer has filed I94 Extsn based on my Visa (Form i 539) sep 27 2011 so that she doesn't go out of status.
Questions:
1.I want to change my job & I want new company to apply for the new labor with my current priority dates from EB3 to EB2 .Is there any risk involved in case my current employer decides to revoke the I140 & My Visa ?
2.In this situation can I change employer while I am in Visa transition state and my wife's I-94 extension not approved (normally upto 4-6 weeks)? If yes what is the best way to do it ?
