I am working for Company A on L1-B(expire on Nov 2012) and Company B files H1B (with COS-premium) for me with date of joining as 3 Oct 2011.
Q: If my H1 gets approved after 3rd Oct then when should I put my resignation to Company A and when should I join the Company B. (It should be Immediate or can I take some time to Join?)
What will happen if I still work in Company A for 15 to 30 days more after my H1 gets approved and did not join the Company B as per the date mentioned in the petition.
Is there any grace period (How many Days?) to work (on L1) in Company A even after I get my H1B approved from Employer B.
I actually need to serve 2 weeks notice period with Company A.
