Tri Valley University(TVU) – Fraud Investigation Interview

I signed up for Ph.D program at TVU in 3/30/10 and had received my CPT on 3/31/10.I then found an employer who could apply for H1-B for me.My H1-B had been approved with Comp A and was effective from 1/1/11.I worked on CPT for Comp A from 3/31/10 till 12/31/10.I then transferred my H1-B to Comp B in early February 2011.Yesterday, two people from USCIS Fraud Investigation team went to my current employer(B) and asked for my information.I talked to the lady over the phone. She asked me if I actually lived in California during my CPT.I said,I attended the classes online but was never lived in California.I am supposed to meet her soon.
I need your assistance on understanding the gravity of the situation and its possible consequences. I’d also like to take phone consultation as soon as possible
