Q.

Port of entry issue after overstay on H4

I am on H1B VISA and my wife is on H4. We came to the US in the year 2007. My I129 and i94 was extended in September 2009, however due to lack of information we did not apply for my wife’s VISA/i94 extension. She went back to India on June 19, 2010 and had overstayed her i94 for 270 days by then.

She finally got her H4 VISA stamped from Delhi consulate last week (8/3/2011). We made a full disclosure about her overstay on the VISA application to Delhi consulate.

Question: Can there be a problem at the port-of-entry (San Francisco) due to her earlier overstay?? If yes, can we do something about in advance??
Please advice...
