H1B extension stamping before current h1b expires
Hi there. My current(first) H1B expires on Sep 25,2011 and my employer has filed for H1B extension recently under premium processing. My question is if my H1B extension gets approved and suppose the start date is Sep 26,2011, can I go for Visa stamping in Mexico/ Canada in August 1st week(around 50 days before current H1 expires)? If not before 50 days, how sooner can I go for visa stamping? Can you please let me know if the start is going to be after current h1b expiration date or before?
