My wife's last day of work at company A was July 20 2011. Her 6 years of H1B expires on Oct 24 2011. Her Labor with company A is approved on Nov 08 2010. Her I-140 with company A is approved on Apr 07 2011. I asked my lawyer to file for adjustment of status to H4 on July 20 2011 and they have send the application to USCIS on July 21 2011 and i assume the case is "in pending".
Can another firm company B in 2 or 3 weeks from now file for 3 years of H1B extension based on company A's approved I-140? She is in the final round of interview and she hopes she will get this new job.
