Q.

L2 to H1

1.I am on L2 visa, working on EAD.I have got H1B approval, with I94 from 1stOct2011.My husband is on L1. Now if he changes his status from L1 to H1 with myself from L2 to H4 from July2011,what will be my status on 1 Oct2011?Will status change to H4 during July to Sep have any effect on my H1?
2.My husband has an old approval notice valid till Sep2011. Its not stamped and never used. Now if he applies for L1 to H1 with this approval, can the start date be immediate. Is there any chance that we apply for immediate start date, and USCIS approves it from 1st Oct.
3.If USCIS approves it from 1 Oct, and My H1 is also from 1st Oct 2011, then what will be my status on 1st Oct? How can I avoid losing my current approved H1? Thank You!
