Q.

H1B visa

I graduated with a Masters degree and recently got a job on the H1B work visa. However, when I received notification of my H1B approval, it was approved only for 1 year. I am now 6 months into this current H1B visa. If I was to switch jobs now and my new employer filed for H1B transfer, would it be possible to get approved for the remaining 2.5 years or would the transfer be approved only for the remaining 6 months and require the employer to file for a renewal again after 6 months?
