Q.

EB3 to EB2 with same employer experience

mechanical engg.(BE mechanical 4 years degree course) passed out on june 2003 from india. 10 months experience in india as a mechanical engg. come in usa on june 2004 as a mechanical engg.on H1B. lc certified and I 140 approved in EB3 category as a mechanical engg. Priority date may 1 2008. after 7 years still with same employer and position. can i file in EB2 with same employer and count 7 yrs experience? what should my new position to file? what should my new duties to shown in EB2? how different that from current duties? can i port my PD from EB3 to EB2? i dont have enough 5 years of experiecne before I140 approved in EB3.what options i should have? do i must have to find new employer to file in EB2 to port my category from EB3 to EB2 or any other way i could do with current employer?
