Switching jobs at the end of 6 years of H1 visa
My visa expires on Dec'9th,2011. I have an approved I140 from Company A. Now, company B offers me a job and have some questions on sponsoring my visa.
- Does Company B need to apply for visa twice i.e. now and in December?
- In other words, based on the approved I140 from Company A, can I get 3 year extension NOW from Company B?
- Is it necessary for the Company B to apply for labor (start GC processing) in order to get 3 year extension now (i.e. before even applying for H1 visa)?
