OPT - H1
My fiancee completed her MS from University of Georgia on Dec 2010. After that she went back to her home country India for health reasons.
I am presently at USA on H1.
1) Can she start her OPT now ?
2) She would like to work in USA. Our marriage is end of this month (June 2011).If the answer to the 1st question is NO.Is it advisable to bring her on H4 and latter apply for H1. In that case will she be considered in the "H-1B Master’s Exemption" or "H-1B Regular Cap".
Please advise.
