EB3 to EB2 priority date portability
Hi,
My current employer filed my green card under EB3 and I have I-140 aproval date of august 2008. Now I got a better job offer in similar field in a different company. If the new company is ready to file under EB2 category then could my earlier priority date be kept or somehow ported to get an earlier priority date for new EB2 filing? If yes, then what are the pre requisites or conditions for that to happen? Thanks a lot..
