My and my wife were on L1/L2 visa, we applied for H1 visa in 2008 and change of status to H1
Both our H1s and change of status got approved. My wife's H4 also did get approved. She has 2 I-94s - one on her H1 status change notice and one on her H4 status change notice
My wife was pregnant and did start her job. We emailed her employer that she will not be able to work until April'09. She is still an employee with that company, but not getting paid.
She had a baby in Jan 2009 and wants to start looking for a job in March 2009.
(1)Is she out of status ? what do you suggest that we do
(2)How much longer can she wait and look for a job ?
(3) will there be a problem if I ask these questions at USCIS infopass
