Q.

H4 and H1

I have H1B and I came Nepal for marriage. My passport has stamp with previous employer and it expired on Sept 2011.I have I797 approval with new employer and it expired on Feb 2013. After marriage, my wife apply H4.Embassy hold her passport and told that I(H1) also needs to get a new stamp. she was given white paper 221g with administrative processing required. they told I cannot enter US with my current visa. I ask some attorneys who told me that I donot need new stamping to enter US. I am confused. what should I do to get my wife H4 visa without my H1 new stamping? I donot have enough document for applying H1 now. Can I enter US with my current visa? After enter US, how can my wife get H4 visa? I prefer not to get new H1 stamping in kathmandu, Nepal. Please advise or any alternate ideas.
