Hi, I Applied for extension after 3 years on H1 and got for 1 Year i.e. till August 2011. In Feb 2011 I came to India on my Marriage. On Feb 18 2011 I along with my wife attended Visa interview. The officer requested for Client letter which I provided. She kept My as well as My wifes passport. She mentioned that they need to verify the client letter and should not take long. She did not give any 221g form any color. After 2 weeks I sent an email to consulate wherein I got a response saying case is in admin processing and need to wait. It is 7 weeks now. My question basically is 1) Can we speed my case through my company lawyer. My client will give any sort of documentation regards to my criticality to project 2) Can my visa be extended while in India as the 1 year ends on august 2011. Thx
