Last Dec,I was returning from office and didn't know that the bulb over my license plate was fused.Seeing this,a cop followed my car with the lights on.I kept on driving because I was totally ignorant of the fact that I need to pull over.I had the assumption that he was chasing someone else.Finally when I stopped,I was arrested for criminal traffic offense(fail to stop for police),detained in custody for a night and presented to court next morning.I was released and was asked to appear for a PTC where I was fined and the charges were dropped. I need to go for visa stamping to India in Apr. My questions are: 1)Shall I answer "Yes" or "No" to -"Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense..."?
2)What documents I need to carry and what problems I may face and how to handle them?
